Porchlight is operations software for pet sitting and dog walking companies, from a solo owner to a team of 50 sitters. It replaces the mix of calendars, text threads, spreadsheets and paper notes that most small pet care businesses run on. Pricing is flat: Team is $79 a month with unlimited staff accounts, and Solo is $35 a month for an owner working alone. Both plans include every feature, so hiring a sitter never raises your bill. SCHEDULING AND DISPATCH Schedule walks, drop-ins, overnight sitting, boarding and daycare in one calendar. Recurring visits can be paused and resumed, and visits can be reassigned to another sitter in a few taps. Unlimited clients and pets are included. A SITTER APP THAT WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Sitters use an installable mobile web app. A full visit works with no signal: check in and out, follow the checklist, add photos and notes, and read the client's access codes. Everything syncs when the phone reconnects. Porchlight is a web app you add to your home screen, not a native iOS or Android app. PROOF OF SERVICE Every visit produces a report card with photos, notes, GPS check-in and check-out times and the walk route. Clients see report cards in their portal. CLIENT PORTAL Clients can request visits, view report cards and invoices, and send messages. INVOICING AND PAYROLL Create invoices from completed visits. Porchlight calculates sitter pay from visits and exports it as a CSV. It does not run payroll or file taxes, so you keep using the payroll tool you already have. SWITCHING The Switch Kit imports client and visit data from CSV exports of Time To Pet, Precise Petcare, Pet Sitter Plus and LeashTime, with a dry run, duplicate checks and rollback.
