I kept paying API bills for LLM tasks I could do for free in the browser. So I automated the browser instead. Hermex is an open-source Python library that drives the ChatGPT and Gemini web apps from your code. It opens a real Chrome window, types your prompt, uploads your files, waits for the reply, and hands it back as a Python object: plain text, Markdown, or a generated image saved to disk. No API key, no billing account. Plain text prompts work without logging in. Sign in once and you also get file uploads and image generation, and the session is reused on every later run. If you already pay for a ChatGPT or Gemini subscription, Hermex uses that same account instead of a second, metered API bill. Gemini images can optionally have their watermark removed. Built for personal scripts and research. Please use it within each platform's terms. pip install hermex (Python 3.11+, MIT licensed) Website: https://hermex.usama.ai GitHub: https://github.com/pseudo-usama/hermex
