Connect PostHog
Verify completed-day pageviews for your app's host and optionally switch your selected analytics source.
Authorize the correct region and project
From your domain-verified app in My Apps, open PostHog. Choose US Cloud or EU Cloud to match your PostHog project, then connect and authorize access.
Choose PostHog project, select the relevant project and run Verify project and sync. Rocket checks pageview activity for the app's verified website host. A project authorization is not proof that its events belong to the app.
Wait for a completed day
Rocket uses completed UTC-day pageviews. A newly installed project may have recent events but no complete day yet. Keep sending normal pageviews and retry Sync now after a full reporting day.
Check the verified host, last successful sync and any action-required message. A project with events for another hostname must not be used to represent this app. PostHog pageviews are not interchangeable with GA4 active users.
Select PostHog for public display
A connected PostHog project does not replace GA4 automatically. Once verification is healthy, choose Use verified PostHog and confirm the source switch. The new source starts private.
Choose public pageview visibility and inspect the app's public page. Only one analytics source appears at a time. Stale data needs a fresh sync before sharing. Disconnecting removes the local connection and its public verification; follow the provider's grant-revocation controls if needed.
